General Tire Expands its Camper Tire Lineup

Hanover, Germany, April 3, 2025. For those who engage in off-road travel with their motorhome, General Tire is introducing three new sizes of the Grabber AT3 as C-Type and one as CP-Type tires.

The C marking in tires indicates that the tire has a reinforced carcass, making them particularly suitable for use on trucks, vans, motorhomes, and campers. These specialized tires are known for their enhanced load-bearing capacity. For instance, a General Tire Grabber AT3 C-Type tire can withstand loads ranging from 975 kilograms (load index 107) to 1,450 kilograms (load index 121), depending on the tire's dimensions. These tires are engineered to exhibit exceptional robustness, a trait that is crucial for bearing the substantial loads imposed by heavy vehicles.

The General Tire Grabber AT3 is an award-winning all-season tire designed for use on SUVs, light commercial vehicles, and off-road vehicles. As an all-terrain tire, the Grabber AT3 offers a combination of off-road capability and safe on-road performance in all weather conditions. It is characterized by its robust construction and aggressive design. Notably, the Grabber AT3 has been recognized as the best all-season tire of 2024 by the renowned German trade magazine promobil (issue 11/24).
