900 SUPERBLACK, 1300 R or 700 Rolls Royce: at the 44th instance of the Conti Tuning Day – a Special Edition – everything revolved around vehicles from BRABUS on August 20, 2022. The vehicle tuner brought along an impressive ten high-performance vehicles for comprehensive testing, including a brand-new customised Mercedes EQS and the BRABUS 900 Crawler. To ensure the right tyre performance beyond the high-speed track, this was equipped with the Grabber X3, General Tire’s off-road specialist.
The BRABUS 900 Crawler – or “Supercar” as the tuners from the Ruhr region have dubbed it – boasts 900 hp under its carbon hood, so no need to hide from its on-the-road competitors. The Crawler accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and is limited to a top speed of 160 km/h. If its tyres are to survive, even on difficult terrain, they must indeed meet stringent requirements. As a 4x4 tyre model developed not only for on-road use but also for off-road use, the Grabber X3 from General Tire is naturally the perfect choice here.
With its aggressive tread pattern and innovative product features, the Mud Terrain tyre offers maximum durability. The tyre impresses with its three main technologies: An innovative tread to ensure maximum traction in mud, an excellent grip to guarantee safety, even on loose surfaces, and an exceptional cut resistance for reliable performance, even on rocky terrain. The Grabber X3 is available in 38 different sizes for 15- to 20-inch rims.
True to the slogan “Anywhere is Possible,” the General Tire brand supports adventurers on and off the road with its tyres for SUVs and 4x4s. The Grabber X3 is a mud terrain tyre designed to meet the most extreme needs of pick-up-truck and off-road vehicle drivers looking for a combination of exceptional off-road capabilities and safe on-road performance.
