Rolbos Overland- Simon van der Merwe

I’ve been travelling around in my Fortuner for the last few years exploring mostly South Africa but trying to get into the rest of Southern Africa. I enjoy taking pictures and enjoying what we have in this country and sharing the passion with others.

I’ve been working with General Tire for about 4 years now and its been a great partnership for various reasons. We travel to the Tankwa a lot where these tyres are perfect – I’ve never had issues or punctures. The other reason that it’s been a good partnership is because General Tire is manufactured locally and there are people that I engage with directly.

When I started off I was working with quite a few brands and over the years I’ve cut it down to only a few where there are proper relationships in place, where I believe in the brand, and this is exactly what General Tire is.
